MARIA JOSÉ GATNAU FORTEA

Born in Barcelona in 1974. Graduate in Audio-visual communication and holder of a master's degree in communication in organisations. Since 1997 her career has been linked to the world of local television, with neighbourhood television stations in Barcelona and other projects connected with local heritage and communication. Subsequently, as an organiser at the Catalan Local Television oordinator (TLC), she came into contact with the Local Television Circuit project, the embryo of what is now the XTVL structure. Since 2004 she has performed different tasks within XTVL, all concerned with content and coordination in connection with associated television stations.

As XTVL Content and Services Coordinator, Maria José Gatnau is responsible for the XTVL programming schedules, for managing its non-news content and for coordinating with the associated television stations in the design and running of this schedule and its content.
