GABRIEL BARRAGÁN BOSQUET

Born in Laujar de Andarax (Almeria) in 1966. Graduate in journalism. His professional career has developed in different local and regional Catalan media. He started out as a journalist in the 80's with Ràdio Molins de Rei. Later he was appointed press chief at the local council, also in Molins de Rei. For 15 years he combined this position with presenting and editing a regional news programme broadcast daily on Televisió de Vallirana. Between 1997 and 2001 he was the director of Ràdio Sant Feliu (Sant Feliu de Llobregat). He has worked for newspapers in the Baix Llobregat area and appeared on local and regional radio programmes.

As local action director at the XAL, Gabriel Barragán is responsible for promoting and fostering the association of local television organisations to the Network, following through the process of them joining and ensuring that the organisations adhere to the goals or conditions laid down in the membership agreements.
