FÉLIX ORTEGA SANZ

Born in Vic (Barcelona province) in 1971. Graduate in law and holder of a master's degree in audio-visual business management. In 1996 he joined the legal services department of the Local Communication Consortium, where he was executive officer between 2001 and 2003. He has headed the Local Audio-visual Network since it was set up in 2004. In 2007 he also took on executive responsibilities at the Local Communication Agency (COMRàdio), and currently combines these with his role at the XAL.

As manager of the XAL, Fèlix Ortega has direct responsibilities in the legal, financial, budgeting and human resources areas, as well as for the organisation and general coordination of services and projects. Over the years he has built up experience in the public and private sectors, on the legal side (audio-visual and broadcasting law and administrative, company and intellectual property law) and also in the field of business management in the broadcast media and recording industry.
