Services

The other basic axis of what the XAL offers its associated organisations is that of services in the areas of technology and communications infrastructure, management, corporate communication, marketing, training, advice and technical support.

  1. Technology and telecommunications and management infrastructures. The XAL provides technology, telecommunications and management infrastructures necessary to contribute and distribute content, as well as coordinating information, actions and services between the people who work with the XAL.
This principally takes the form of satellite and/or broadband television distribution systems, systems to distribute and contribute content over IP networks, equipment for monitoring associated organisations' continuity systems, plus a web portal and an extranet for managing content from all its users. These are essential tools to ensure that services work properly and improve.

  2. Corporate communication. The XAL undertakes to agree its corporate communication strategies with its associated organisations. The XAL takes corporate communication to mean activities and initiatives to publicise and promote services, both its own activities in the audio-visual field and those of its associated organisations. Corporate communication by the XAL is therefore directed towards twin goals: creating a presence for the XAL and its associated organisations in the media world and building a positive image for them in the community, as well as capitalising on this in a consensual way to give special promotion to the identity of each of the different associated organisations.

  3. Marketing. The XAL offers its services as an intermediary for marketing in the following areas:
    · Advertising. Itself or through third parties, it channels the arrangement of institutional advertising and sponsorship for syndicated programmes.
    · Content. It mediates in the marketing of pictures, news and programmes by the associated organisations.

  4. Training, advice and support. The XAL, within the framework of its activities aimed at providing its associated organisations with technical advice and training, has in place a specialist training programme made up of standard and specific courses to meet the needs of each organisation. The XAL provides its associated organisations with specialist support services in all areas of the audio-visual sector where a recognised need exists which can be met by the XAL in a consensual way.
